HHO Kits w/ Cells & EFIE O2 Sensor Enhancer This kit is everything you need for a do-it-yourself conversion of your fuel injected car to a water car hybrid. The kit is based on our experience of what works and what doesn't from Water4Gas & Eagle Research. Not only will you have the parts but you will learn how to install it, tune it and troubleshoot the system on your car. Each cell is tested to be completely air tight. EFIE O2 Sensor Enhancer You must have one EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) for each O2 sensor upstream of the catalytic convertor. In some cars designed after 2002 you may need an EFIE for O2 sensors downstream of the convertor. If you have a dual exhaust system having 4 O2 sensors you will need a minimum of 2 EFIE enhancers. The purpose of the enhancer is to send a different and LOWER O2 reading to the computer. HHO cells produce both H and O. The extra O does not burn completely in the engine and ends up being sensed by the O2 sensors which in turn signal the computer to inject more fuel canceling any fuel efficency gains. So...if your car has a computer and an O2 sensor, you will need an EFIE for any mileage improvement. If your O2 sensor and/or MAF/MAP meter is frequency output (as in all Toyotas) you must use an EFIE and not a MAF Enhancer. The EFIE will also work with O2 sensors that are narrow-band as well as those that are wide-band. In short, the EFIE is the desirable electronic tool to offset the O2 reading sent to the auto computer. If you already own your auto's electrical schematic, let us know and we will refund $15 for the schematic. MAF/MAP Enhancer You may use the MAF Enhancer instead of the EFIE if your MAF/MAP meter is designed to have variable voltage outputs, however, if your MAF/MAP meter has frequency outputs you must use the EFIE (all Toyotas).
